ALL THE WAY FROM THE NORTH POLE!!!!
That's right kids!!!! Making a special visit during his all important present packing weeks, Santa Claus will be appearing live at the Sandstone Point 4th Annual Carols by Candellight.
Reindeer will secretly land at an undisclosed location near the Oval (no photos or media coverage of the landing site please) then Santa will be escourted in a vintage car direct to the Stage at the Carols Celebration.
Come along and put a last minute word in for your Christmas wish list! (unless you're on the naughty list!) 
THE LAURIE YOUNG CONCERT BAND IS RETURNING IN 2011!!!!
After a recent performance at the Bribie Island Baptist Church on November 13th, the Laurie Young Concert Band will again be performing live at the Sandstone Point 4th Annual Carols by Candlelight.
Come along and hear another stunning performance of the band as they accompany the Choir and perform a number of muscial numbers just for you!

Come along and hear the trio of Ukelele playing "mature" blokes who love to play 1940s-1960s standards and your favourite singalong tunes! These blokes are great!!!!

Your association has been very active over the past three months.
GRANTS:
We have been fortunate to have received three grants from Government.
1 “Carols by Candlelight” committee was successful in obtaining a grant of $1175 from the Qld State Government Gaming Community Benefit Fund for our annual Christmas Carols.
2 The association also received a grant from Federal Government Community Services for $1703 for a computer, printer and software. We have purchased a laptop computer, laser colour printer and a projector. They are already in use.
3 “Carols by Candlelight” committee was also successful in obtaining a grant of $1000 for the annual Christmas Carols from Moreton Bay Regional Council Community Grants & $500 via Gary Parsons from the Mayor’s Regional and Councillor’s Community Support Fund
CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT ON SATURDAY 17 DECEMBER:
The Sandstone Point Community “Carols by Candlelight” event is set to return for its fourth year and continues to provide a fun filled opportunity for families to welcome in the festive season. It will be held at the Sandstone Point Sport and Community Complex behind the shopping centre and the event commences at 5.30pm with food, stalls and free family entertainment followed by Carols at 7pm. Brought to you jointly by Sandstone Point Association and the Bribie Baptist Church and sponsored by the local business community and proudly sponsored by the local business community including Century 21 Integrity - Sandstone Point, Bribie Island & Burpengary - Redsell Air & Abraham Multimedia. This popular event is growing each year and attracting higher profile celebrities.
There will be wonderful festive music as well as lots of other entertainment for the children including face painting, “the Overlander” train ride, the Sand Wizards and the ever popular Miss Donna, the Clown. Glow sticks and battery operated candles will be on sale.
Christopher Wayne – Australia’s Celebrity is booked for a 15 minute show from 6 – 6.15pm only – so don’t miss this. Christopher is seen regularly on Ch10’s “Toasted TV”.
